Alter Domus, a provider of Fund and Corporate Services to alternative investment managers, has opened two new offices in Spain; in Madrid and Barcelona. LiquidityBook, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based provider of buy- and sell-side trading solutions, has opened a new office at 138 Holborn in Waterhouse Square, London. PAG, a Hong Kong-based independent alternative investment fund manager, has hired a new quantitative investment and research team, based in Geneva, to launch a new business applying quantitative techniques to fundamental investments. The business, known as PAG Investment Solutions, is led by Edgar van Tuyll, formerly chief quantitative strategist at Pictet, where he and his team managed a USD1 billion portfolio. Xavier Rolet has agreed to step down as CEO of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) with immediate effect, at the request of the Group’s board. The Board has asked David Warren, CFO, to assume the additional role of Interim CEO until a successor is appointed. Euroclear has appointed Yves Dupuy (pictured), as Chief Information Officer. He will be based in Brussels and will join the Euroclear Group Executive Committee, reporting to Lieve Mostrey, Chief Executive Officer of the Euroclear group. Dupuy joins Euroclear from Societe Generale where he most recently was the Chief Information Officer, Global Banking and Investor Solutions for the EMEA region.
