Liquidnet, the global institutional trading network, has appointed Stephen Grady as non-executive director of Liquidnet Europe.
Grady will bring more than 20 years of experience in managing trading functions.

Artisan Partners has appointed Pearse Monaghan as a director in the firm’s London-based distribution team.
Monaghan (pictured) will play a leading business development role for the firm in the UK and Ireland, where the group hopes to further develop its existing strong network of institutional and financial intermediary relationships.
Monaghan brings significant experience in the asset management industry to the role, most recently with Nomura Asset Management and HSBC Global Asset Management.

Marina Lutova Meyers, a partner and portfolio manager at BlueMountain, has been given expanded responsibilities for overseeing performing credit globally. She will also continue to lead the firm’s long/short credit portfolio in North America, as well as its index arbitrage strategies. Meyers also oversees global trade execution, and is a member of the management and investment committees.

Paul Dentskevich has joined Crestbridge in Jersey as risk director, Jersey Management Company, in a move that boosts Crestbridge’s position as a provider of on and off balance sheet management company (ManCo) services to the international funds market.
Dentskevich (pictured) has over 28 years of financial services experience, with particular focus in the area of risk management, investment management and corporate governance of hedge and other multi-asset funds.

Quaero Capital has appointed Michaël Malquarti as senior portfolio manager.
Malquarti (pictured), a specialist in multi-manager and alternative strategies, will manage the Long/Short European Equity fund and assist Cristofer Gelli in the management of asset allocation strategies.
Prior to joining Quaero, Malquarti was head of manager research and alternative investments at SYZ Asset Management.
Malquarti recently promoted his ideas in the media for the use by the Swiss National Bank of new tools in monetary policies and is currently preparing the publication of a book on the reform of the monetary system.
Jean Keller, CEO of
Torstone Technology, a provider of post-trade securities and derivatives processing, is expanding in Europe with the appointment of Paul Phillips as head of European sales and Paul Mundy as product manager, both based at Torstone’s London headquarters.

Medley Management, an alternative asset management firm, has appointed Christopher D Allen as a senior managing director and head of structured credit.
Allen was previously a founding partner at CVC Credit Partners, a global investment manager.
He co-founded Apidos Capital Management in 2005, which was merged with CVC Cordatus Group to form CVC Credit Partners in 2012. At Apidos, Allen oversaw the global leveraged loan platform, business development and strategic initiatives. At CVC Credit Partners, he held a number of roles including chief operating officer and head of structured finance origination.
