Man Group has appointed Steven Desmyter as Head of Responsible Investment and Chair of Man Group’s Responsible Investment Committee.
This position recognises his instrumental role in developing and driving forward the firm’s responsible investment capabilities, in support of clients’ needs. Steven, who is member of Man Group’s Executive Committee and Head of Sales across EMEA, will also continue in his current role.

Director Antoinette Eltz has joined Hermes’ Client Relationship Management Team, reporting into Gareth Davies, Head of Client Relationship Management. Antoinette will be responsible for building and developing relationships with Hermes’ clients across multiple distribution channels. A native German speaker, Eltz will help to strengthen support for the business’ European-based clients. BCS Global Markets, the Russian investment bank and largest securities broker on the Moscow exchange, has appointed Andrey Yumatov, to the newly created role of Deputy Chief Business Officer, Capital Markets and Investment Banking, Russia and CIS.
Prior to joining BCS Global Markets Yumatov worked as Senior Vice-president at JSCB Rossisky Capital.

BNY Mellon has appointed Peter Salvage (pictured) to the newly-created role of Global Head, Hedge Fund Services. He will report to Chandresh Iyer, Chief Executive Officer of BNY Mellon’s Global Alternative Investment Services and Structured Products business.

Dash Financial Technologies has appointed Robert Boylan (pictured), as Managing Director, Business Development. In this role he will be responsible for further building the firm’s business among both its buy and sell side client bases.
Boylan brings over 25 years’ experience in the capital markets. He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he most recently led the firm’s Electronic Trading hedge fund sales team following several years leading the Broker Dealer & International Electronic Institutional sales group. Prior to that Boylan spent five years at Credit Suisse, working first in its commission management sales group and later co-heading its Advanced Execution
JP Morgan Asset Management has hired two seasoned private credit investors, Brad Demong and Leander Christofides, to join its Alternatives business as co-CIOs of a new Global Special Situations group.
Demong and Christofides previously held senior roles in JP Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank, most recently managing Leverage & Distressed Private Side Research and Trading for the EMEA region. They left the firm in 2016, and will now re-join effective today. Demong and Christofides will be based in New York and London, respectively.
