Weeden Prime Services, a prime brokerage service provider for hedge funds and family offices, has expanded its operations to include an outsourced trading services desk.
Joining Weeden Prime are industry veterans Patrick Connors, Dan Lilly and Eric Savitz.
Connors and Lilly are pioneers in the outsourced trading industry, founding Greenwich Prime Trading as managing members in 2001.
Savitz joined Greenwich Prime Trading the following year in June 2002 following in his father’s footsteps. His father, Barry Savitz, is considered the founder of outsourced trading and established the first outsourced desk at Furman Selz in 1993.

DePalma (pictured) will lead efforts to commercialise PhaseCapital’s current product offering and leverage the firm’s data, trading and technology platform to diversify its product set.
DePalma previously spent 25 years at AllianceBernstein and most recently served as senior vice president and chief investment officer of quantitative investment strategies and director of fixed income absolute return strategies. Prior to this, he was head of the fixed income division’s quantitative research effort.

Cowen Group has appointed Craig E Zaph as head of debt capital markets in the company’s investment banking team.
Zaph is based in New York and reports to Kevin Raidy, head of investment banking.

Harvest Global Investments (HGI) has appointed Ashley Dale as chief business development officer and chief marketing officer.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to James Sun, CEO, he heads the marketing and overall business development for Asia, North & South America, Europe and the Middle East for one of Asia's largest investment managers.
In this role, Dale (pictured) is responsible for developing business for international clients looking to invest in China and Asia as a whole, as well as cooperating with Mainland Chinese financial institutions wishing to allocate capital globally, including in the UK and Europe.

Corporate credit specialist Muzinich & Co has appointed three analysts, including financials and Asia sector specialists, as it expands its expertise across the credit spectrum.
Craig Guttenplan, who will be based in Muzinich’s New York office, joins from Rogge Global Partners, where he was responsible for financial sector investment grade and high yield debt.
Tracy Zhao, who previously worked for Aozora Asia Pacific Finance, has joined as a credit analyst on Muzinich’s Asia investment team. She is based in London.

Feigelson joins from TIAA, where he most recently served as senior managing director, general counsel, head of regulatory affairs, and director of corporate governance.
At Artivest, Feigelson will be responsible for providing strategic, regulatory, and transactional legal counsel across the firm's alternative investment offerings.
Feigelson brings over 20 years of legal, compliance, and governance experience in the financial services industry to Artivest. Prior to TIAA, Feigelson served as managing director and general counsel for ABN AMBRO Bank's
Governance, risk and compliance services provider Cordium has appointed Stephen Squire (pictured) as vice president, head of broker-dealer consulting.
Squire will be working out of Cordium’s San Francisco office.
Squire brings a wealth of insight into the broker-dealer space based on two decades of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Cordium, Squire worked at FINRA while attending law school. He has also served as the head of legal and compliance for a variety of broker-dealers and investment advisers.
His experience also includes tenures with several regional securities firms throughout the country. In 2013, Squire started his own consulting
TMX Market Insights has named John Willock as director, TMX Datalinx – the company’s real-time data offering – effective 26 September 2016.

Orlando-based Inside Advantage PR – a specialist in hedge funds, law firms and wealth management firms – is broadening its reach into New York City with the opening an office in Midtown Manhattan.
The new space, located at 275 Madison Avenue, will serve as the home for several of the agency’s north-eastern clients.
Inside Advantage PR’s president Jonathan Beaton says the expansion is long overdue.
“Many of our clients are already located in Manhattan, or have an office in the city,” he says. “Our new presence will further bolster those relationships and help us build new ones.”
