Copeland Capital Management has appointed Steven J Adams as the firm’s Chief Operating and Financial Officer.  Adams comes to Copeland from AMG Funds, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in his career he was a Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers where he served clients in the financial services industry and then was a Principal at Rorer Asset Management. Steve joins Copeland as a Principal and will serve on the firm's Management Committee. Adams is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the AICPA Technology Division.
Senior finance lawyer Jennifer J Kafcas has joined law firm O’Melveny & Myers’ London office as counsel and a member of the Corporate Finance Practice. MIK Fund Solutions has opened a Boston office seed with three staff currently. The move follows a recent initiative in Asia that saw the opening of an office in Shanghai. The Boston office opens up a completely new talent pool for recruiting and hiring for MIK’s global development team. MarketAxess Holdings has enhanced its European credit trading platform with the addition of a further four market-making broker-dealers.  The new dealers providing liquidity to institutional investors in European credit are: Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Mizuho, and Toronto-Dominion (TD). This brings the total number of broker-dealers on the European platform to 34. Through its Singapore branch, MarketAxess Europe has also recently enhanced liquidity in Asian credit with the addition of DBS Bank.
