TMF Group has appointed Michael Adams as global Head of Structured Finance.  Adams has worked for TMF Group for three years and was most recently Regional Managing Director for the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.  Prior to TMF Group, Adams was Managing Director and Business Manager for BNY Mellon’s Corporate Trust EMEA Structured Finance business, responsible for the business development, strategy and growth of ABS, MBS, CMBS, Covered Bonds, Project Finance and the Carbon businesses for the EMEA region.  Before joining BNY Mellon, Adams held a variety of roles with Barclays Capital and Grant Thornton.   In addition, TMF

State Street Corporation has appointed Alex Lawton to senior managing director and head of securities finance for State Street Global Markets in Europe, Middle-East & Africa (EMEA).  He will be responsible for developing the securities finance business across the region whilst helping State Street’s clients to navigate the evolving regulatory framework. Lawton will report to Rajen Shah, head of State Street Global Markets for EMEA and Lou Maiuri, global head of securities finance. Lawton has nearly 20 years financial services experience. Professor Noël Amenc has resigned fro his role as Director of EDHEC-Risk Institute.  Amenc founded EDHEC-Risk Institute in 2001 and enabled the institute, which is part of EDHEC Business School, to become one of the leading centres for applied research for the investment industry worldwide, with a presence not only in Nice, France, but also in London and Singapore, and research and executive education partnerships with CFA Institute, Yale School of Management and Princeton University.  Amenc’s resignation is effective as of 1 August, 2015. Muzinich & Co, an institutional asset management firm specialising in corporate credit, has appointed a business development manager to cover the north of England and Scotland. In a newly created role, Philip Raby will be responsible for developing relationships with investors as well as looking after existing Muzinich clients.   Raby was previously at Martin Currie, where he was UK sales and client services manager. Previous positions include relationship management and business development roles with J O Hambro Capital Management and Aegon Asset Management, spending six years with each. The London Metal Exchange (LME) has appointed Andrew Dodsworth as Head of Market Operations.  Dodsworth will lead an expanded Market Operations function, which has been designed to provide a robust, comprehensive and high quality operational service to all of the LME’s customers. This team will encompass the LME’s existing electronic trading, matching, market data and warrant management operational services, as well as the price discovery department, headed by Peter Childs, and all market supervision functions.   Dodsworth has 19 years of experience leading market operations for financial exchanges.
