Mirabaud Asset Management has appointed Patrick Hube as Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for Swiss large cap companies.
Huber's appointment is an additional step towards strengthening the management capabilities of an existing team which, thanks to its expertise and good performances, has been able to win numerous mandates and multiple awards. Among other asset classes, in Swiss equities specifically Mirabaud Asset Management currently manages nearly one billion Swiss francs, distributed among various Swiss equity funds and mandates, both on behalf of professional and institutional investors.

Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Christophe Baurand as Global Head of Commercial, Marketing and Liquidity Management.
Based in Paris, he reports to Bruno Prigent, Head of SGSS, and joins the SGSS Executive Committee. Baurand replaces Massimo Cotella, who has left Societe Generale to pursue other opportunities outside the group. His appointment took effect on 1st January 2015.
Baurand is responsible for the commercial development and marketing strategy of SGSS, as well as for implementing the different commercial initiatives in the SGSS development and competitiveness plan that was launched in 2014.

IS Prime, the new foreign exchange brokerage service launched in late 2014, has hired two former Sucden Financial employees, Andrew Biggs and Jean Claude Francois.
An Biggs’ role will focus on delivering tailor-made solutions for IS Prime’s institutional client base, with responsibility for electronic trading solutions, client coverage and analytics; while Francois will be the lead contact for client on-boarding, reporting and front-to-back MT4 set-ups.
Biggs’ career has focused on e-FX and CFD sales and execution. His introduction to the industry was at a successful retail brokerage where he swiftly rose to head the European sales and coverage team
Global Prime Partners, a provider of prime brokerage and trading services to hedge funds, asset managers, family offices and professional traders, has appointed Andrew Bole as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Bole joins Global Prime Partners from IG Group Holdings where he was Chief Risk Officer and a key member of their senior management team. He brings more than 15 years of management experience in the industry.

GAMCO Investors has appointed Dennis J DeCore as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Comstock Capital Value Fund.
DeCore joins Charles L Minter, who has been a Portfolio Manager of the Comstock Capital Value Fund since its inception in 1985.
DeCore has more than forty years of experience in the brokerage business. Prior to joining GAMCO, he held positions at Merrill Lynch and Nomura Securities. DeCore received a BS in Finance and Economics from Rider University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
BlueBay Asset Management, a manager of fixed income and alternative investments, has appointed Jana Velebova as a Portfolio Manager in the firm’s Emerging Markets Sovereign Team.
Jana has spent the past nine years managing active long-only and absolute return emerging market sovereign fixed income and currency portfolios. She began her fund management career at Threadneedle, before moving to Rogge Global Partners in 2010, where she became a Partner. Working both in London and Singapore, she was responsible for emerging market assets across a variety of active global fixed income portfolios.

Civitas Capital Group has appointed David Perel to the newly created position of President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Perel, who was previously a Managing Director of Civitas Alternative Investments and President of Juno Development (both Civitas affiliates), will oversee the general management of the firm and its operating divisions.
Perel will continue to serve on Civitas' executive and investment committees, and will report to Daniel J Healy, Chief Executive Officer. He will also continue to be involved in the development and financing of lodging investments for the firm.

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has appointed Nick Gionfriddo as Head of OTC Clearing Sales, North America within its Newedge prime services business.
Gionfriddo will be based in New York and will work closely with Jamie Gavin, who was recently appointed Head of Institutional OTC Clearing Sales, UK. He will report to Adam Cohen, Global Head of Institutional Sales.
Gionfriddo joins from CME Group where he was a Senior Director on the OTC Products team, providing services across rates, credit and FX to institutional clients. He has more than 11 years of derivatives clearing experience
