First Derivatives (FD), a provider of software and consulting services, has appointed Virginia Gambale to the Board of the Company as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
A US citizen, Gambale has extensive experience as an enterprise technology buyer in capital markets, a technology venture capital partner and an independent director across diverse industry sectors.
Gambale is managing partner of Azimuth Partners LLC, which assists in the development of strategies for growth, innovation and international expansion. Independent corporate, fund and private client services provider JTC has appointed Will Cameron (pictured) in a Director role as the Head of the firm’s Fareham office
which is an operational centre for some of the Group’s client administration, accountancy and corporate secretarial services.
Cameron joined JTC in 2015 from Saltgate (UK) Limited where he worked as a Director of Client Services with responsibility for all accounting and administration deliverables. Prior to this, he was with the Capita Financial Group working in their Fund Administration division with a specific focus on the real estate sector.

Karl McEneff is to step back from day to day executive responsibilities at SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services but will remain within the organisation taking up the role of Chairman and non-Executive Director of SuMi TRUST Ireland with effect from 01 March 2015.
The new CEO will be Hiromitsu Tanaka, who brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge developed over many years having played a prominent role within Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank focused on the Group's global and domestic asset servicing activities. Tanaka previously spent significant time in New York as CEO of the global custody business,
Ray Iler, former regional leader of Deloitte's hedge fund practice on the West Coast, has joined the Financial Services Organization's Wealth & Asset Management practice of Ernst & Young.
Iler, who also served as the lead of Deloitte's Emerging Manager Platform, will provide professional services to EY's hedge fund, private equity and venture capital clients. Iler was also the audit lead for Deloitte's Growth Enterprise Services team in San Francisco.

BATS Global Markets’ (BATS) President Chris Concannon is to be appointed to the additional role of chief executive officer, effective 31 March31, 2015.
Concannon arrived at BATS as president in December 2014 with nearly 20 years of experience as an exchange executive, regulator and industry participant, and played a major role in the Hotspot FX acquisition announced January 16, 2015.

Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited (ASX: BLA) has appointed Neil Power as managing director of its hedge fund division.
Power brings more than 20 years of experience working in the hedge fund industry. He most recently was a partner at Australian-based advisory and placement firm Allen Partners.
In 2007, Power joined Boronia Capital, one of Australia’s oldest and largest hedge funds, where he was instrumental in helping triple the fund’s Assets Under Management (AUM) to $3 billion.
Based in Blue Sky’s Sydney office, Power will work to grow Blue Sky’s hedge fund business in Australia and internationally.

By leveraging Apex's ability to bring global fund structures to the US, Westley will have responsibility for growing Apex's North American operations and integrating potential acquisitions.
