Clearbrook Global Advisors has appointed Manit Rye as Managing Director and Head of Hedged Index Strategies. Rye will be based in the firm’s New York headquarters and report to Elliott Wislar, Chief Executive Officer of Clearbrook.
Rye will be responsible for managing and developing customised portfolio solutions for Clearbrook clients, utilizsng actively managed options on broad market indices. The strategy is active and is currently implemented for institutional and family office client portfolios, which Rye will oversee in his role.

Wayne will be based in Abacus’s New York office and will report to Jonathan Bohrer, Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Wayne will guide Abacus’s leadership development, bolster retention and scale recruitment of new talent to support the company’s long-term growth.
Wayne brings Abacus over 10 years of experience and joins from JP Morgan Chase, where he served as VP of HR Service Delivery and spearheaded HR program and project management initiatives across Latin America.

Moran, a partner in the London office’s investment management practice, joined Ropes & Gray in August 2013 from Dechert LLP. She focuses on advising European and US clients on the establishment, authorisation and management of all types of retail and institutional investment funds domiciled in the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg and Jersey including UCITS, ICVCs, investment trusts, hedge funds, real estate funds and segregated institutional portfolios.

After a decade of holding key positions at respected brokerage firms, such as GFT and AvaTrade in Australia, Sudhanshu Agarwal now joins the management team of Tickmill.

ALTIN, the USD250 million multi-strategy fund of hedge funds listed on the London and Swiss stock exchanges, has appointed Cantor Fitzgerald as the company’s sole financial adviser and corporate broker in the UK.
The ALTIN share price was up +8.60% and +10.20% on the Swiss (SIX) and London (LSE) exchanges respectively in 2014. The ALTIN NAV per share was up +5.75% over 20141, clearly outperforming the HFRI index (+3.19%).
Scipion Capital (Scipion), the international commodity trade finance investment manager has appointed a new high level Advisory Council, chaired by the Right Honourable Sir Desmond de Silva.
