GlobeOp Financial Services (LSE:GO) has appointed Eamonn Greaves as head of business development. Greaves reports to Hans Hufschmid (pictured), chief executive officer, and is based in the company’s New York City headquarters.
Greaves is a managing director at GlobeOp and previously led the company’s Hartford, CT office, with responsibility for regional fund accounting and operations.

RBC Dexia Investor Services has appointed Guy d’Albrand as Head of Securities Lending and unveiled its new global Market Products & Services (MPS) business model, offering clients access to multiple portfolio solutions under one umbrella.
D’Albrand previously worked with Société Générale and Newedge, holding senior positions in their investment management and services, investment banking and brokerage units. In his new role, he will be responsible for product management and development for both securities lending and stock borrowing. He joins in January, 2012 and will be located in London.

Paul McLaughlin has been appointed as head of operations for State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions team in Guernsey.
McLaughlin, who has more than 15 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, joins State Street to help further build its alternative investment servicing business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with a particular focus on the private equity and real estate funds sectors.
McLaughlin joins from BNY Mellon in Dublin where he worked for 11 years, most recently as head of alternative investment servicing fund of funds and private equity for EMEA. He also gained experience with the
Chilton Trust Management, in affiliation with Chilton Private Clients, has hired Timothy Horan from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income.
Horan, currently Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at MSSB Fixed Income Investment Advisors, will join CPC on 3 January, 2012. In his new role, he will work closely with Richard L Chilton, Jr, Chairman of Chilton Trust and CPC and who will continue to serve as Chief Investment Officer – Equities.

Cutler Capital Management, LLC today announced that Robert Butman and Paul Bucci have joined Cutler Capital as Managing Directors and Portfolio Managers, adding to the firm’s expertise in convertible securities.
Butman and Bucci were previously at Second Moment Capital Management, LLC, a firm they co-founded in New Canaan, Conn. They have 18 years of experience working together.

Dave Sauvarin has assumed responsibility as managing director of Northern Trusts’s Jersey office. Sauvarin, who was most recently head of Northern Trust’s UK listed real estate administration team in Guernsey, replaces Paul Guilbert, who has been appointed as head of private equity in Guernsey.
In his role, Sauvarin is responsible for managing Northern Trust’s Jersey office, which provides specialist services and expertise for a range of traditional and alternative assets including real estate, private equity, infrastructure funds, hedge and fund of hedge funds administration.

FIX Protocol Limited (FPL), has appointed Justin Stephan, Director of Trading Applications at Wellington Management Company, as the new Co-Chair of the FPL Global Steering Committee, the group responsible for driving FPL’s strategy worldwide. Interdealer broker ICAP has appointed Gary Pettit to the new position of Global Head of Financial Futures and Options. Pettit was formerly Global Head of Futures and Options at MF Global.
ICAP has also recruited, so far, an additional 25 former MF Global staff across London, New York, Chicago and Sydney. Gary Pettit will be based in London, reporting to Gary Smith, Deputy CEO, ICAP London and EMEA.
