Indus Capital Partners, LLC has appointed Edward Nebens as Head of Europe Fund Trading. He is based in the NYC office reporting to Gene Salamon, Head of the Europe team.

Fiserv, Inc, a provider of financial services technology solutions, has named Cheryl Nash as President of its Investment Services division.
With 28 years of service with Investment Services at Fiserv, Nash brings a strong track record of industry leadership, technology expertise and commitment to serving clients to this role. She has managed strategic functions in the organization and was instrumental in the development of multiple strategy portfolios, more commonly known today as unified managed accounts (UMAs).

Tony Reed has been appointed as Managing Director of Phoenix Fund Services (UK) Limited. He will report to John Rice, CEO, and join the Phoenix Fund Services’ executive management team.
Reed will be responsible for managing the relationships with clients of Phoenix’s UK funds business as well as for Phoenix’s compliance and risk management.

F&C Thames River has strengthened its Multi-Alternative team with the appointment of Torquil Wheatley as Product & Performance Manager, reporting to Ken Kinsey-Quick, Head of Multi-Manager Alternatives.
Torquil joins F&C Thames River from Deutsche Bank in London where he worked for 11 years as Director, GFFX Global Markets Structuring and Head of Currency Solutions for Pension Funds and Insurers. Prior to this, he worked for other financial institutions including JP Morgan and Citibank in London, Paris and New York.

O’Sullivan has over 15 years’ experience in the industry. European Multilateral Clearing Facility NV (EMCF) has appointed Hugh Brown as Director of UK Markets. In this newly created position, Brown will be EMCF’s representative in London, managing the relationships with UK-based platforms and clients, liaising with regulators and industry bodies and helping to develop EMCF’s strategy and positioning on industry issues.
Brown joins EMCF following 17 years with the London Stock Exchange Group, where his roles have included managing trading, post trading and regulatory strategy.

Lionel Paquin has been appointed as Managing Director – Head of the Managed Account Platform at Lyxor Asset Management.
Paquin, who has been working within the Société Générale Group since 2004 and is a member of the Lyxor Management Committee and Executive Committee, replaces Stéphane Enguehard, who has been promoted to Managing Director – Head of Funds of Hedge Funds Development for Lyxor.
Enguehard’s new role will consist of promoting the company’s Funds of Hedge Funds range towards a broader audience of key investors around the globe.
Harneys has appointed former XXIV Old Buildings barrister David Herbert as head of the firm’s growing Cayman Islands litigation and insolvency team.
Herbert, whose appointment as partner and Head of Cayman Islands Litigation & Insolvency takes effect 1 November, has been associated with Harneys since 2003 and was seconded to the firm’s Cayman Islands office full-time in 2009.
Herbert is a Chancery barrister who has practised at leading offshore set XXIV Old Buildings since 2003. His primary areas of expertise are insolvency and restructuring, trust advice and litigation, and company and business disputes. Recently Herbert acted for Harneys in the

With Hunt’s appointment, the firm now offers clients a broader suite of investment management legal services, including a ’40 Act practice focused on alternative mutual funds.
