Shoreline Trading Group, a provider of prime brokerage and agency execution services, has hired Fredrik Schilling to focus on prime brokerage sales operations. Schilling has been named managing director and he brings decades of experience to the position. Prior to joining Shoreline, Schilling served as global head of prime brokerage services for Barclays Capital, and spent significant time helping to build Bear Stearns’ prime brokerage offering as senior managing director of capital introduction, product development and marketing. Ounavarra Capital has appointed Laurence B. Siegel as a senior adviser. Siegel (pictured) will continue as research director of the Research Foundation of CFA Institute. He was most recently and since 1994, the director of research in the investment division of the Ford Foundation. Northern Trust has appointed Patrick Everett as Dallas region president, overseeing the company’s North Texas wealth management operations, which provide investment management, fiduciary services and banking solutions to individuals and institutions. Formerly chief investment officer for Northern Trust’s Western region including California, Washington and Nevada, Everett will relocate to Dallas. He joined Northern Trust in 1996 as a portfolio manager and also served as president and chief executive of Northern Trust, FSB in Las Vegas, Nevada.
