MUFG Investor Services has partnered with Point Nine Limited, a specialist in outsourced operations, processing and reporting for post-trade execution. Cambridge Capital, a hedge fund with a focus on cryptocurrencies, will be joining the Apex Token Fund, the first tokenised fund of funds. The firm’s mixture of long- and short-term trading strategies will add profitability and security to Apex, allowing it to achieve consistent returns for its investors. Cambridge Capital invests in a wide range of ICOs, liquid tokens, and protocols, dividing its investments into long and short categories. Long investments are chosen on the basis of code and team reviews, regulatory concerns, and likelihood of being replaced with existing coins. Cboe Global Markets has successfully migrated the Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) to its proprietary Bats technology with trading on the new platform opening in Global Trading Hours at 5:00 pm CT on Sunday, 25 February.  At the end of the trading session at 4:00 pm CT on Monday, 26 February, 98 trading firms accessed the new platform, trading a total of 159,492 contracts. Thomson Reuters and DealVector have partnered to integrate access to certain DealVector identity-protected messaging capabilities with Thomson Reuters Loan Pricing Corporation (LPC) desktop products. The integration will enable LPC clients viewing CLO and loan data to connect to holders of those specific assets.   Thomson Reuters LPC is a provider of information on the syndicated loan and CLO markets. DealVector is the fixed income electronic asset registry which allows market participants to source liquidity, communicate, and exercise governance rights by connecting directly to other market players affiliated with a specific bond, loan, or other financial asset.   In addition to
NEX has partnered with China Foreign Exchange TradeSystem (CFETS), China’s interbank market trading platform and infrastructure provider, to launch CFETS FX2017 (FX2017), a new trading platform for the Chinese foreign exchange (FX) market. Having selected NEX to deliver the underlying technology for the new services in June 2016, CFETS launched the first phase of FX2017 with a central limit order book (CLOB) platform for spot onshore Chinese renminbi (CNY) on 4 December 2017. An anonymous execution capability for the Chinese market, market participants will have access to a central pool of liquidity and a public reference point for spot CNY pricing.
