Advent Software, a provider of software and services for the investment management industry, is making Capital IQ and Tamale RMS data available via a single dashboard view.
The new dashboard combines fundamental and quantitative company data, offered by Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ, with the investment firm’s own proprietary research data through Tamale RMS.

DCS provides clients with a global over-the-counter clearing service for interest rates, credit, foreign exchange, equities and commodities.
Goldman Sachs DCS is an agency business designed to streamline the client derivatives clearing experience across products, asset classes and regions.
It builds upon the firm’s prime brokerage and futures clearing platforms to maximise efficiency and provide an integrated suite of tools and reporting for clients.

The average price for assets on the secondary hedge fund market rose to 78 per cent after shaking off some of the fallout from May’s European debt crisis, according to Hedgebay’s June index.
Investors’ confidence was shaken by the damage caused by the Greek crisis, and saw the average price for hedge fund shares drop to an all time low.
Although the average price shows that secondary users continue to be wary of paying too much for assets, the rise does indicate an upturn in confidence.

NYSE Euronext is creating the first pan-European multilateral trading facility for corporate bonds, making it the first market operator to respond to the specifications issued by the Cassiopeia Committee on 26 April 2010.
The new platform will be open to all regulated institutions authorised to operate in Europe and seeking to trade, among professionals, fixed and floating rate bonds denominated in euros and issued by non-sovereign issuers.
Using technology based on the Universal Trading Platform, it will allow financial intermediaries to reap the full benefits of UTP’s scalability, capacity, ultra-low latency and resiliency.

Following the signing of a partnership between ABN Amro Clearing and tick-TS in February this year, the companies have expanded the markets available via their set-up.
As of today, further access can be provided to the NYSE Euronext Cash Market and Eurex.

The system will collect and administer details of all over-the-counter transactions reported by users and give market participants and regulators access to a consolidated global view of these OTC derivative positions.

Derivatives exchange Eurex has for the first time exceeded the one million mark in open interest on its dividend product suite.
Dividend futures and options contracts outstanding as at 19 July stood at 1,010,417 which represent a nominal value in excess of EUR6.2bn of the dividend payments of European blue-chip companies.
Dividend based derivatives are a relatively new asset class and Eurex was the first exchange to launch equity index dividends in summer 2008.
Open interest of the dividend index derivatives stands above 636,000 contracts.
