Koger, a provider of software and services for the fund administration industry, has launched the next version of NTAS, its transfer agency solution.
NTAS 10.1 introduces a number of enhancements and new features that expand the tools available to the administrator making the fund administration process faster and more automated.

Derivatives exchange Eurex will be introducing six additional commodity index futures on 28 June.
The new futures are based on the Dow Jones UBS commodity index family’s sub-indices: softs, grain, precious metal, ex-energy, petroleum and livestock.
They complement the futures listed since March 2009 based on the Dow Jones UBS composite index and the three sub-indices agriculture, energy and metal.
The entire range of sub-indices of the Dow Jones UBS family will be covered by futures as from the start of trading.

NYSE Arca Europe, NYSE Euronext’s European multilateral trading facility, has expanded into trading blue chip securities listed on the Prague Stock Exchange and the Budapest Stock Exchange.
From today, NYSE Arca Europe will expand its product range to include constituents of the BUX Index (Budapest Stock Exchange) and the PX Index (Prague Stock Exchange).
Trades in these securities will be cleared by EuroCCP.
The announcement follows the recent expansion of NYSE Arca Europe’s securities coverage to include access to the 100 most liquid US equities featuring 86 NYSE listed companies and 14 other listings.

Liquidnet, the institutional investment community that enables secure and anonymous block trading of equities, is expanding its trading operations to include New Zealand listed securities.
Liquidnet will commence trading of New Zealand equities on 22 June 2010.
It is believed to be the first time an alternative trading venue has offered electronic trading access to equities listed in New Zealand.
Sam Macqueen, co-head of Liquidnet Australia, says the decision to facilitate New Zealand equities trading was led by strong demand from Liquidnet’s asset manager members who find the local market restrictive when it comes to trading large volumes of stocks.
A tool for accurately valuing over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives has been launched by SuperDerivatives.
The Revaluation Investigation and Analysis system will validate valuations for complex and vanilla derivatives in all asset classes.
It is a web based interactive application which allows the user to provide a set of shifts in the underlying yield curves and volatility surfaces and the system displays the resulting valuations and associated risk measures.

The European Energy Exchange and the derivatives exchange Eurex will expand trading in European Union Allowance futures from 30 June with contracts which will reach maturity from the third commitment period of the European Emission Trading System.
The third commitment period, which will begin on 1 January 2013, was specified as early as upon the adoption of the European Climate and Renewable Energies Package by the European Parliament in December 2008.
Subject to approval by the EEX Exchange Council, EUA futures for delivery in 2013 and 2014 will be available in the trading system as of the end of June.
Credit Suisse has launched Onyx, an algorithmic trading platform designed specifically for fixed income.
The platform gives clients electronic access to trade directly with Credit Suisse.
The initial Onyx offering is a suite of algorithmic execution for pair strategies between fixed income futures and cash US Treasuries. These are the same algorithms that were designed by and have been used by the Credit Suisse trading desk for several years.
