All major hedge fund strategies have seen overall inflows in the first quarter of 2022, according to a report from Pensions & Investments. Hedge funds had total inflows of $19.8 billion in the first quarter, the highest level since the second quarter of 2015 when net asset inflows totaled $21.5 billion, according to HFR. That compares with asset outflows of $8.9 billion in the fourth quarter 2021 and net inflows of $6.1 billion in the first quarter 2021. Active asset manager J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM) has appointed Nikolaos Dimakis as senior data scientist. Dimakis joins from Federated Hermes where he was a Quantitative Analyst and joins JOHCM to support Head of Investments Andrew Parry.  Dimakis’ role will focus on managing and developing tools to utilise data better in order to support investment teams in JOHCM and its impact investing arm Regnan.
