Apex has launched a new ESG data and rating service, Apex GreenLight ESG Ratings (GreenLight), and appointing a Global Head of ESG Product to drive development.
GreenLight will deliver an in-house developed ESG rating evaluating privately held companies globally, unlocking unique market intelligence and delivering access to a previously opaque asset class.
GreenLight will also deliver consulting services to support the integration of ESG across clients’ due diligence, value creation and reporting processes.
The new product line will be offered alongside Apex’s ESG reporting solutions for listed assets launched in October 2018, delivering an enhanced set of solutions to ease

Spiro will focus on extending the capabilities of Hazeltree Collateral Management with specific focus on the Uncleared Margin Rules and Standard Initial Margin Model (UMR and SIMM) mandates.
Spiro has been a part of the derivatives industry for over 20 years, specialising in derivatives collateral management. Prior to joining Hazeltree, Spiro held senior Product and Operations Management roles at Societe
Russian market maker BCS Global Markets (BCS GM) has appointed Dmitry Trub as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Trub will be responsible for driving software development to maximise BCS GM’s investment banking functions drive efficiency in the service provided to BCS GM’s institutional clients.
Trub has almost 20 years of experience of both developing and making decisions related to technically complex solutions for corporate and investment banking to ensure that BCS GM continues to use the most advanced technology for the benefit of its trading teams and clients.

US Bank Global Fund Services has hired Chris Rosenthal as senior vice president, business development.
In this role, Rosenthal will be responsible for developing new business relationships nationally for asset managers, insurance companies, banks and other financial institutions. He will be located in the Hackensack, New Jersey office.
Rosenthal is an experienced senior executive who brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry at organisations such as Bankers Trust Company and the United States Trust Company. Most recently, Rosenthal was director of asset servicing sales and relationship management at BNY Mellon.

Kenney has more than 19 years of experience investing in credit markets. He was Head of International Credit Opportunities and Managing Director at DE Shaw & Co. for nearly ten years from 2003 to 2012, where he built and managed a multi-billion dollar international fundamental credit investing business.
