Atalaya Capital Management has appointed investment industry veteran Matthew Rothfleisch as a Partner. With his deep experience in middle market distressed investing and more liquid strategies, Rothfleisch complements Atalaya’s existing private investment capabilities and position the firm to capitalise on public market opportunities and future market dislocations.
Rothfleisch previously worked with Atalaya CEO Ivan Zinn and other members of the Atalaya team atHighbridge Capital Management’s Special Opportunities business in 2002 and has been a long-standing friend and a co-investor with Atalaya and its Partners. The Exchange Council of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) has approved the re-appointment of Tim Greenwood as Managing Director of EEX.
In addition to Greenwood, the Exchange Management Board also includes Steffen Koehler and Dr Tobias Paulun. Tim Greenwood who was appointed to the board in 2014 for a period of five years was re-appointed as an Exchange Management Board member for another term of five years.

Insight Investment has appointed Andrew Stephens as Head of Distribution, EMEA. Stephens, who joined Insight on 1 July, is based in London and reports to Angus Woolhouse, Global Head of Distribution.
Stephens joins Insight from Blackrock where he spent 19 years, most recently as Head of UK Institutional Client Business.
Woolhouse says: “Serving our clients and their advisers is of fundamental importance to our business. At a time when their needs are becoming ever more specific and complex, Andrew’s strength and depth of experience adds further weight to our global distribution efforts.”

Specialist fixed income manager, BlueBay Asset Management (BlueBay), has appointed Alex Navin to join the firm’s Structured Credit team as Portfolio Manager.
Based in London, Navin will report to Sid Chhabra, Head of Structured Credit and CLO Management, and will support him in managing BlueBay’s global structured credit strategies.
Navin has nearly a decade of structured credit experience. He joins from Citigroup Global Markets, where he held a number of roles, most recently as senior CLO trader. Navin achieved a BS Mechanical Engineering (in honours) from Virginia Tech, Magna Cum Laude.
