BTIG has hired Steven Stich within its Prime Brokerage division. Stich will be based in the firm’s Dallas, Texas office and report into Matthew Partain, Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage Sales. The Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), the leading association for the blockchain ecosystem, has appointed Tom Jessop, president of Fidelity Digital Assets and head of Corporate Business Development at Fidelity Investments, to its board. Middleton has joined Intertrust’s private equity team and is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder. Dominic Coyne has been promoted to Senior Manager, responsible for a team with established expertise in alternative investment funds and experience in the administration of a broad range of fund vehicles. Emily Roque has been promoted to Assistant Manager and Michael Bree has been appointed as Client Reporting Supervisor. Michael oversees VG’s fund administration software platform, Investran, and is responsible for financial reporting to managers and investors. Man GLG, the discretionary investment management business of Man Group, has appointed three portfolio managers within its long-short equity team – Nick Longcroft, Matteo De Paulis, and Julien Sallmard.   Longcroft will be based in Hong Kong and focus on technology, media and telecoms. De Paulis and Sallmard will be based in London and focus on holding company arbitrage and European consumer, respectively. Houlihan Lokey (NYSE:HLI), the global investment bank, has added Christian Keller and Ann Sharkey to the firm’s European Financial Sponsors Group.  These appointments follow the recent arrival of Leon Gillespie, who joined the team in London in October to focus on UK private equity clients.
