Brian R Hall, OBE, former Chairman of the Board of Oyster Consulting (Bermuda) Ltd, has become Chairman Emeritus.
Hall (pictured) has served as Chairman of the Board since the company’s inception. His son, B Robert (Rob) Hall, a Founding Principal and Managing Director of Oyster Consulting, will now take on the role of Chairman .

TABB Group has added two capital markets industry veterans, George Bollenbacher as head of fixed income research, and Russell Rhoads, as head of derivatives research.

Tim Clipstone has joined the Guernsey office of Ogier as a partner in its top-tier investment fund team.
Clipstone (pictured), has a strong reputation for his work with offshore investment funds, specialising in investment fund structuring, equity fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and group reorganisations.
Ogier’s Guernsey team were recently Guernsey legal counsel to the launch of a GBP202 million music IPO fund, and are ranked in the top tier by IFLR.

OpenFin, an operating system for the financial industry, has appointed Stephen Wood as Global Head of Enterprise Deployment.
Wood joins from Deutsche Bank, where he served as Head of Market Data, Risk and Compliance, from 2012-2015, and Global Head of Market Data Services, from 2015-2018, with responsibilities including managing the deployment of vendor products. Wood brings his unique insights to OpenFin, where he will be responsible for driving the firm’s enterprise deployment strategy. He will be working closely with the growing number of banks, asset managers and hedge funds now running their financial desktop applications on OpenFin.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has appointed Alastair McGill as General Manager of its Messaging, Reconciliation and Connectivity solutions business (MRC).
McGill (pictured), who has over 25 years of experience in the financial technology sector, will now hold responsibility for the strategy and execution of Broadridge’s MRC business. Based in London, he has global responsibility for this business. He reports to Tom Carey, President of Broadridge International.

BlockTower Capital co-founder Ari Paul (pictured), has been appointed to the advisory board of Caspian, an institutional-grade crypto trading platform.
Caspian now connects to more than 25 exchanges and has 12 funds on its beta platform, with eight more clients expected later this month. The company will also be adding its first Over The Counter (OTC) desk as a destination later this month.
Caspian has also announced that it is allowing for a defined composite order book that aggregates and displays liquidity from more than 20 exchanges with the ability to trade against it using the Caspian Smart Order

London-listed service provider JTC has promoted alternative fund specialist James Tracey to Managing Director of its Guernsey office.
In his new role, Tracey (pictured) will be pivotal in leading the firm’s Guernsey office as it continues to grow its institutional and private client service range from the jurisdiction, whilst he will also assume additional cross-jurisdictional responsibilities as he takes a seat on JTC’s Institutional Client Services (ICS) Board.

Outsourced trading solutions firm Tourmaline Partners has appointed industry veterans Seth Hoenig and Aidan Toomey as Managing Directors.
Hoenig comes to Tourmaline with 20 years of trading experience and most recently served as Head Trader at Glenhill Capital. He previously worked as a trader at Sigma Capital Management/SAC Capital Advisors and Spear Leeds & Kellogg/Goldman Sachs. Toomey also brings 20 years of trading experience and comes to Tourmaline from outsourced trading firm Outset Global Trading, where he established the firm’s New York office. He has held senior trading roles at HSBC, JPMorgan, Jefferies and Raymond James, and began his
