ITI Capital has appointed John Barker (pictured), as Non-Executive Chairman. He was formerly the Executive Chairman of BCS and Managing Director and Head of International at Liquidnet Europe for over 10 years, as well as serving on the Board at Instinet.
In his new role, Barker will spearhead ITI Capital’s business strategy, offering direct market access to emerging markets for global clients, and to global markets for its Russian clients. The London based team also offers prime brokerage services and a trading platform for algorithmic funds, as well as structured products and technology-focused asset management.

Active asset manager J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM) has appointed experienced portfolio managers Giorgio Caputo and Lale Topcuoglu to spearhead a global multi-asset income investment strategy.
A US mutual fund launch is scheduled for Q4 2017, and a global income builder fund is expected to launch in Q1 2018, the latter will be marketed to UK and European investors via a Dublin-domiciled OEIC fund, subject to regulatory approval.

RMB Capital (RMB) has promoted portfolio manager Andrew Baker, CFA (pictured), to partner.
Baker joined RMB in 2008 as a senior analyst for the firm’s asset management team. Since then, he has been working as a generalist across asset classes and leading all investment manager due diligence efforts. He was named vice president in 2014 and became portfolio manager for RMB’s multi-strategy alternative portfolios in 2015. Baker is also a member of the firm’s investment committee.

The team will be run by Anthony Robertson, formerly Head of Leveraged Finance at BlueBay Asset Management, who joins as CIO of the strategy.
