Capital Generation Partners (CapGen), a private investment group serving ultra-high net worth families and endowments, has appointed Alex Waters as global strategist. Reporting to CapGen’s founding partners, Waters (pictured) will be responsible for developing CapGen’s macroeconomic analysis, drawing on a range of data sources to provide a robust framework for the firm’s investment decisions.   Waters joins CapGen from Roubini Global Economics, where he was responsible for the organisation’s global forecasting effort, and producing macroeconomic and monetary policy research. Financial and corporate communications consultancy Citigate Dewe Rogerson has launched an investor relations (IR) advisory service for alternative investment managers. In addition, it has appointed Hyacinth Chu (pictured) as director in its New York office.   Prior to joining Citigate, Chu was director of marketing and investor relations for two hedge funds: Alpha4x Asset Management, which employed a discretionary global macro strategy, and Serendiv Capital, which managed an event driven and equities strategy.   Chu was also a managing director at Atrato Advisors, an investment consultant specialised in hedge fund research and custom portfolio construction. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Timothy Keady as managing director of DTCC Solutions and Sales & Solution Delivery. Keady (pictured) assumes responsibility for leading DTCC’s solutions businesses of derivatives, collateral, institutional post-trade processing (Omgeo products), entity data (Avox Data Services) and data products, including DTCC’s joint venture companies of Clarient Global, DTCC-Euroclear Global Collateral and Soltra.    He retains his current responsibilities as chief client officer for leading the company’s sales, relationship management, and marketing and communications functions.    Keady succeeds Donna Milrod, who is leaving the firm in November.   He will report to Mike Bodson,

SALI Fund Services has appointed Jonas Katz as managing director and chief marketing officer.
