Hedge fund firm Crescent Capital Group has appointed Peter Mitchell has Senior Vice President (SVP) of Investor Relations. He will be responsible for marketing Crescent’s strategies to institutional investors including public pension plans and multi-employer pension plans. Mitchell brings more than a decade of experience in the financial industry. He joins Crescent from Thornburg Investment Management where he was a Senior Portfolio Specialist. Man GLG, the discretionary investment management business of Man Group, has appointed Simon Pickard and Edward Cole as portfolio managers of the soon to be launched Unconstrained Emerging Equity strategy. Euronext has accelerated its transition plan following the announcement by Dominique Cerutti of his resignation on 22 April, by appointing Jos Dijsselhof as interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment is effective immediately, pending relevant regulatory approvals.
