BATS Global Markets (BATS) has hired Kapil Rathi as Vice President, Options Business Strategy.
Rathi joined BATS on 23 February after 10 years in key roles at the International Securities Exchange (ISE) and is working closely with Jeromee Johnson, Vice President, Options Business Strategy, as a senior member of the BATS Options team. Both Rathi and Johnson report to Bryan Harkins, Executive Vice President, Head of US Markets.

Muzinich & Co, an institutional asset management firm specialising in corporate credit, has appointed Rafael Ximenez de Embun and Jesus Belascoain as it continues to strengthen its team in Madrid.
Ximenez de Embun joins Muzinich to lead the Marketing and Client Relations team for Spain and Portugal. He brings over 20 years of experience in both wealth management and asset management and most recently was Head of Julius Baer Wealth Management business in Spain & Portugal.
Belascoain joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he spent more than 9 years developing the fund distribution business.

CME Group has named Christopher Fix as Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific.
Fix will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for leading CME Group's efforts to develop benchmark products and services to meet the needs of its customer base in the region. He will join CME Group on June 3, 2015, and will report to London-based William Knottenbelt, Senior Managing Director and Head of International, CME Group.

Cane joined Muzinich & Co from Babson Capital where he spent more than three years focusing on High Yield Bonds and Leveraged Loans across a range of sectors and geographies. Prior to that he worked at Anglo Irish Bank, primarily in restructuring. He holds a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and is a CFA Charterholder.
