Liquidnet, the global institutional trading network, has further strengthened its fixed income team in Europe with the appointment of Jonathan Gray as Head of Fixed Income Sales.
Reporting directly to Mark Pumfrey (pictured), CEO Liquidnet Europe and Constantinos Antoniades, Global Head of Fixed Income, Gray will be responsible for expanding the number of buy side institutions on the platform adding additional liquidity and supporting growth through the introduction of new asset classes.

Ananda Radhakrishnan, director of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) Division of Clearing and Risk (DCR), is to leave the agency in the middle of November.
Radhakrishnan is a 12-year veteran of the agency, and he has been the director since DCR was formed in 2011 and previously had been the director of the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight (DCIO).
Phyllis Dietz, currently deputy director for clearing policy, will be the acting director upon Radhakrishnan’s departure.

BCS Financial Group, the largest broker of equities and derivatives on the Moscow exchange, has appointed Tim Bevan as chief executive of BCS Prime Brokerage.
The new role will be responsible for all international operations including future growth strategy, new products and diversifying the business.
The CEO role has been created due to the rapid expansion of the ex-Russian business and following on from other senior appointments at BCS such as the recent hire of John Barker as chairman and Max Hayden as global head of prime brokerage.

PineBridge Investments has appointed two senior investment professionals to its private funds group.
PineBridge appointed Justin Pollack as senior vice president and Stacia Rogers as vice president, product specialist.
Pollack will support secondaries activities and opportunities for the team, and Rogers will oversee growth initiatives and serve as the team's primary contact for various business development channels.

Peak Ridge Capital has added Robert Showers as a partner to the firm.
Showers will be primarily responsible for assisting Peak Ridge Capital in the continuing expansion of its alternative investments platform.
Most recently, Showers was the global co-head of listed derivatives execution services at UBS Securities where he managed and developed business strategy for global sales traders and managed traders in North America and Brazil across fixed income, equities and commodity futures markets.

Owain McNeill has joined Quintillion Limited, a European-based affiliate of US Bancorp Fund Services, as senior vice president of business development.
McNeill, based in London, will focus on the continued growth of the company’s alternative investment service offering throughout the European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) market.

Covariance Capital Management, a provider of outsourced endowment management services to educational, healthcare and other non-profits, has appointed Kevin Nee as chief executive officer.
