Fintech specialist Broadridge Financial Solutions, has appointed Wout Kalis as Head of Asia Pacific for Broadridge Asset Management Solutions. As well as driving growth and product expansion, Kalis will oversee day-to-day operations and provide senior asset management leadership in the region. Kalis has extensive regional leadership experience in the fintech and fund administration spaces in APAC. Most recently, he served as Regional Head of Alternative Investment Services for BNY Mellon with responsibility for building out the company’s footprint in Asia. Crescent Capital Group, an alternative credit investment firm, has appointed Jonathan Harari as global head of the firm’s Investor Solutions Group. Based in New York, Harari is responsible for developing and executing Crescent’s strategic sales and marketing plan for clients and assets. This includes identifying potential new investors, developing and maintaining client relationships, designing new investment solutions and managing Crescent’s investor relations and client solutions team. Point72 Asset Management, the hedge fund founded by Steve Cohen, has expanded its crypto team with the appointment of Lionel Sukhram as a digital assets senior professional, according to a report by Financial News. Hassan Bassiri, the vice president of portfolio management at crypto hedge fund Arca, has left the firm, according to a report by CoinDesk. Bassiri’s LinkedIn profile says he ended his four year and four month tenure with the company this month and is now portfolio manager at Nima Capital, a single-family office founded by Suna Said.
Global investment firm Cambridge Associates has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of chief data officer Harinder Soin and head of corporate strategy Adam Lester. Soin reports to Jason Roberts, chief technology officer and Lester reports to the firm’s chief executive officer, David Druley.
