The 41-year-old, who holds a doctorate in engineering and economics, will relinquish his previous position as chief strategy officer of the European Energy Exchange AG.

ExodusPoint Capital Management, a $13 billion hedge fund with offices in London, Paris, Dubai and Singapore, has appointed Evangelos Makris as an analyst from JPMorgan, where he was a senior associate for three years, according to a report by Financial News. Makris joined JP Morgan as an associate in 2019 before being promoted to senior associate in November 2021, having begun his career at Tokyo-headquartered Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
