Conduit Holdings Limited (Conduit) has appointed Antonio Moretti as Head of Investor Relations & Marketing, with immediate effect.
Copper.co, a cryptocurrency custodian and trading solutions provider, has appointed Michael Roberts, Adam Groom, Paul Barham, Ben Carr and Ross Budgen. The five join Copper with immediate effect, as the company progresses with plans to enhance its prime infrastructure offering.
Roberts will lead the new team, bringing the best part of two decades’ experience to his new role, joining from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) where he was a managing director and EMEA head of the bank’s prime platform.
He will be joined by former BAML directors Groom and Barham, who most recently led relationship management and product
Former Brevan Howard trader, Giles Coppel, has been appointed by the hedge fund Cinctive Capital Management, according to a report from Reuters.
With global macro investments becoming more popular, Cinctive has hired Coppel to lead a new macro strategy team that will bet on interest rates and currencies.
BTIG has appointed Gil Tollinchi as a managing director in the firm’s Fixed Income Credit unit.
Tollinchi brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm. Most recently, he was a Financial Services Consultant and Investor. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Pretium Partners, and held senior positions within credit sales and loans at Nomura Securities and Golub Capital.
Prior to that, Tollinchi spent over ten years at Crescent Capital where he was the Head of Trading and Capital Markets.
Lakemore Partners and its group entities (Lakemore), a private credit investment firm primarily investing in control CLO equity, added Howard Tiffen to its Board of Directors as an independent board member.
Tiffen is a recognised loan and CLO industry leader with more than 40 years of credit, portfolio management, and product experience. He began his career in the high yield and structured capital markets in 1972 and has held senior credit management positions at Continental Bank, Bank of America, Pilgrim Investments (now Voya Investment Management), Van Kampen (now Invesco), and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

The Committee brings together leading institutional investors, asset managers and investment consultants to enhance and support the SBAI’s dialogue with regulators around the world. Chris Bowlin, Sr Compliance Counsel, Teacher Retirement System of Texas has been appointed Chair of the Committee, and Stephen Berger, Managing Director, Citadel, has been appointed Deputy Chair.

Eventus Systems, a global provider of multi-asset class trade surveillance and market risk solutions, has appointed Nick Wallis as Managing Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Wallis has extensive experience in financial markets, energy derivatives and technology, including 12 years at Nasdaq, where he ran its surveillance sales and account management in EMEA.

Apex Group has appointed Dr Ryan Lemand as a Non-Executive Director of FundRock Investment Management Services (ME) Ltd (FundRock Middle East).
Lemand brings decades of financial services experience including as the former Senior Executive Officer and Board Director of ADS Investment Solutions, the ADSS Group’s Wealth and Asset Management Company, which he launched and grew to become one of the largest companies in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Ryan Hicke, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at SEI, is to become the company’s next chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors, effective 1 June, 2022.
Hicke will succeed Founder Alfred P West, Jr, who is transitioning to the role of Executive Chairman after successfully leading and growing SEI for more than 50 years. The executive management team, currently reporting to West, will report to Hicke effective 1 June.

Alternative investment firm Angelo Gordon has appointed Alan Isenberg, former Head of Product Strategy and Marketing at Neuberger Berman, as Global Head of its Client Partnership Group.
In this role, he is responsible for leading the firm’s worldwide client and product functions, including new business development, client coverage, product development and management, and client service.
Isenberg will report to Josh Baumgarten, co-Chief Executive Officer of Angelo Gordon, and succeeds former Global Head of Investor Relations Garrett Walls, who will remain a senior advisor to the firm until his planned retirement at year-end.
