Cboe Global Markets, a provider of global market infrastructure and tradable products, has promoted Greg Hoogasian to Executive Vice President, Chief Regulatory Officer. Hoogasian has also and appointed to the company’s executive leadership team.
Hoogasian was previously Senior Vice President, Chief Regulatory Officer at Cboe. In this new role, he will continue to oversee the regulation of Cboe’s US equities, options, futures and swap execution facility (SEF) markets, in addition to supporting regulatory oversight of the markets associated with Cboe’s further expansion into North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
UBS O’Connor, a multi-strategy hedge fund manager within UBS Asset Management, has hired Jason Bonadio MD, Robert Sweeney MD, and Adam Sandler MD to manage a relative value equity strategy focusing on the healthcare therapeutics industry.
Bonadio joins as a Healthcare Portfolio Manager. Prior to this role, he co-founded Alera Partners, a long/short equity healthcare fund investing in the biotechnology, medical technology, pharmaceutical and life science tools sectors. Bonadio was also a founding partner and a co-portfolio manager of the FrontPoint Healthcare Funds.

Global Kapital Group (GKG), a global financial services conglomerate, has appointed David Papier as Head of Institutional Sales for GKPro, its UK based B2B broker.
The appointment will be followed by further top-level hires, as GKPro continues to expand in the B2B space, the company said.
With 12 years of broking industry experience, Papier began his career at trading platform CMC Markets and went on to hold senior client management positions at ETX Capital, the derivatives provider.
The expansion of GKPro comes as GKG seeks to expand its brokerage services globally.

WTW has appointed Kate Hollis as Global Head of Credit, Manager Research, in its Investments business.
In this role, Hollis is responsible for a team of over fifteen people and the ratings and performance of all Credit products representing in excess of USD250 billion of assets across WTW’s global client base. She has been promoted from her role leading the Traditional Credit research team. She will remain an Investment Committee member for WTW’s alternative credit fund (Towers Watson Investment Management Alternative Credit Fund).

Bitfrost has appointed Eva Lorenzo as Head of Compliance. In her role, Lorenzo will lead a team of staff responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and organising licensing expansion in Gibraltar, Switzerland, Cyprus, Hong Kong and the UK.
Lorenzo is compliance and MLRO professional with more than 10 years of experience in expertly implementing appropriate local and international regulations.
Before joining Bitfrost, Lorenzo has served for INX Limited and Intertrader Limited where she focused on implementing a robust compliance and financial crime programme, compliance risk management, quantitative analytics and staff training.

Value Partners Group Limited has appointed Ellen Tsang as Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Communications, effective 21 February 2022.
Tsang is responsible for the overall marketing and communications function of the Group. She will take charge of the Group’s branding, marketing, corporate communications and investor relations. Tsang based in Hong Kong, and she reports to the Group’s President, June Wong.
Tsang was formerly Head of Marketing for Asia ex-Japan at State Street Global Advisors and has over 20 years of marketing experience.

Veteran fund manager David Roberts is to retire from fund management in August. This comes after a career of managing fixed income funds and investment teams that began in 1988.
Roberts joined Liontrust in January 2018 along with Phil Milburn and Donald Phillips to create the Liontrust Global Fixed Income team. Since their launch in 2018, Roberts has co-managed with Milburn and Phillips the Liontrust Strategic Bond, GF Strategic Bond and GF Absolute Return Bond funds. He has also been assisting Milburn and Phillips in managing the Liontrust GF High Yield Bond fund over the past four years.

Rimes, a provider of data management and investment intelligence solutions to investors and asset managers, has appointed Renaud Larzilliere as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.
Larzilliere leads the sales engineering, implementation, client services and enterprise project management teams, and is a member of the Executive Committee. He will continue to lead the Rimes technology group, of which he’s been the CTO for the five years.

Griffin advises on fund formations and fund investments across illiquid and liquid asset classes in Europe and around the world for sponsors, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. His practice also includes advising on co-investments, secondary transactions, carried interest arrangements and other complex fund related matters, including fund restructurings, continuation funds and liquidity events.
Griffin joins Mayer Brown from White & Case, where he was head of the London funds and investment management practice. He has also worked in
