One Four Nine Portfolio Management, One Four Nine Group’s in-house discretionary fund management proposition, has appointed Jasper Berens to the board as an independent non-executive director.
Berens brings with him significant experience garnered during a career spanning 28 years in the fund management industry having previously held positions at JP Morgan AM, Artemis IM and Stratevolve. He currently serves as head of client relationships and distribution at the UK’s largest charity investment manager, CCLA, where he is spearheading the firm’s move into the intermediary market.

Baker-Taylor joins CryptoUK having held a number of critical leadership roles in traditional finance and the digital assets industry, working directly with regulators and Capitol Hill policy makers. She is currently the Chief Policy Officer for the Digital Chamber of Commerce, a leading US trade association representing the digital asset and blockchain industry, and leads the Chamber’s Policy and Government Affairs activities.

PineBridge Investments (PineBridge), a private, global asset manager focused on active, high-conviction investing, has hired Nicolas Kopitsis as Head of Wealth Management for Asia.
In this newly created role, Kopitsis will focus on increasing awareness and distribution of PineBridge’s investment capabilities to private banks and distribution platforms in the region.
Kopitsis has more than 20 years of asset management experience, most recently as Head of Intermediary Distribution Asia ex-Japan for BNY Mellon in Singapore.
Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has appointed Nick Savastano as Head of Third Party Distribution (TPD) for Lazard Asset Management in the Middle East.
Based in Dubai and reporting to Farah Foustok, Chief Executive Officer of Lazard Gulf Limited, Savastano will be responsible for TPD for LAM in the Middle East.
Prior to joining the firm, Savastano spent fourteen years as Senior Executive Officer at Invesco Middle East and Africa, being Head of Middle East Partnerships and Financial Institutions from 2014 to 2018. Ninety One has appointed Juliana Hansveden, CFA, as Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets Sustainable Equity.
In this newly created role, Hansveden will be responsible for developing a strategy which will complement Ninety One’s suite of sustainable capabilities, inclusive of Global Environment, Global Sustainable Equity, UK Sustainable Equity and Global Multi Asset Sustainable Growth. She will be based in London.

Alpha FX Group has appointed Nick Maton as Managing Director, Luxembourg.
Maton has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, including managing and growing businesses in the Luxembourg markets, which is an area of strategic importance for the Group. He joins Alpha with an in-depth knowledge of the alternative investment sector alongside his traditional banking experience.
Initially Maton will focus on building and developing commercial partnerships across the alternative investment sector in Luxembourg for the provision of Alpha FX Group’s alternative banking solutions, whilst also supporting its application with Luxembourg’s financial regulator, the CSSF (‘Commision de Surveillance du Secteur Financier’).

Sturiale joins Options with over 20 years of experience selling advanced Capital Markets technology solutions. He has worked with some of the world’s top banking and fintech companies such as Trading Technologies, Redline, Itiviti, Solarflare, Morgan Stanley, and Société Générale to expand their products and services, develop sales channels and drive significant revenue growth.
