Digital Vega, an FX Options e-trading platform and provider of FX Options trading solutions, has made three senior appointments – Simon Nursey as Head of Asia, Asa Attwell as Head of Product Development, and Laura Winkler, EMEA Relationship Manager. Nursey joins from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Head of FX Options Trading in Asia since 2012. Prior to this he was Global Head of Currency Options trading at BNP Paribas for 17 years, working in both London and Singapore.   Attwell was previously Head of EMEA FX and Emerging Markets at Nomura. Financial services provider Apex Group has appointed Renaud Oury as Group Chief Data Officer (CDO) and as a member of the Executive Committee. The creation of this role strengthens Apex’s position as an industry leader and reflects its commitment to building a data driven organisation.      Oury’s, whose appointment is effective immediately, is based in Luxembourg, one of Apex’s largest service centres, and as CDO he will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive analytics strategy for the Group. BCS Global Markets (BCS GM) has appointed Alexey Bachurin as the firm’s new Head of equity trading. Bachurin will be based in London, reporting to co-heads of Global Equities Luis Saenz and Oleg Achkasov. As part of his new role, Bachurin will be responsible for equities execution with an emphasis on global markets. As Head of equity trading, Alexey will also oversee all BCS GM’s Equities Trading departments.   With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, Bachurin joins BGS GM having held senior management positions within equity trading at the likes of IFC Metropol, Metallinvestbank and Renaissance
