The London Metal Exchange (LME) has appointed Gay Huey Evans OBE as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Huey Evans will replace Sir Brian Bender when he retires from the Board in early December 2019, as previously announced.  Huey Evan’s international experience within the financial services industry includes significant commercial, risk, governance and regulatory knowledge and expertise.  LME Chief Executive Matthew Chamberlain says: “I am delighted to welcome Gay to the LME and look forward to working closely with her. PineBridge Investments has appointed Mick Sweeney as Chief Executive Officer of PineBridge Investments Ireland, the firm’s UCITS Management Company and Alternative Investment Fund Manager.  Sweeney is based in Dublin and reports to Klaus Schuster, Head of Europe at PineBridge Investments.   In his new role, Sweeney will have governance responsibilities in support of the Management Company and will be PineBridge’s main contact with the CBI. Aegon Asset Management has made two new hires to strengthen its now 14-strong global responsible investment team. Brunno Maradei joins Aegon Asset Management as Global Head of ESG based in The Hague, the Netherlands and Julius Huttunen joins the company as Responsible Investment Manager, based in Chicago, US. Both will report into Roelie van Wijk-Russchen, Global Head of Responsible Business & Public Affairs.   Maradei joins AAM on the 1st of May from the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg where he was a Senior Investment Officer leading execution teams for project finance deals outside the European Union, focusing on climate-friendly impact
KRM22, a technology and software investment company that focuses on risk management for capital markets, has appointed Garry Jones as an independent non-executive director of the company.  Jones will replace David Ellis, Independent Non-Executive Director, who notified the Board of his intention to step down from the Board with immediate effect after being with the Company since its IPO in early 2018.
