Optima Partners, a global regulatory compliance firm, has promoted Director Sani Jackson to Partner. Jackson has had an impressive career in providing regulatory advisory services to hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks, broker-dealers and other financial services firms across the globe.   Since she joined Optima, Jackson has played a vital role in delivering high-quality compliance projects to clients, helping drive tremendous growth for the firm’s UK office, and leading a team of talented and highly respected professionals.   Prior to joining Optima, Jackson held senior-level positions at Deloitte LLP, Deutsche Bank and Brevan Howard Asset Management LLP.  
Apex Group (Apex) has appointed Gareth Smith has joined as Head of Channel Islands (Guernsey/Jersey), to manage the Group’s expanding operation and client service delivery across Jersey and Guernsey. Smith (pictured) joins Apex from Maitland Administration (Guernsey) Limited where he has been a Director for the past two years. At Maitland he led the firm’s local growth in Guernsey, was involved with the development in the fiduciary business and established a ManCo service solution. Prior to that, Smith spent nearly ten years at R&H Fund Administration, four of which as a Director at its Guernsey arm again driving local expansion,
Prytania Asset Management has appointed Eric Felton as independent director of the firm, effective 1 April 2019. Felton has a wealth of investment experience, most latterly from 13 years as CFO of GCM Grosvenor, one of the world’s largest alternative asset firms. Prior to GCM Grosvenor, Eric was an audit partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen in the financial services sector.
