Jackson has had an impressive career in providing regulatory advisory services to hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks, broker-dealers and other financial services firms across the globe.
Since she joined Optima, Jackson has played a vital role in delivering high-quality compliance projects to clients, helping drive tremendous growth for the firm’s UK office, and leading a team of talented and highly respected professionals.
Prior to joining Optima, Jackson held senior-level positions at Deloitte LLP, Deutsche Bank and Brevan Howard Asset Management LLP.
Apex Group (Apex) has appointed Gareth Smith has joined as Head of Channel Islands (Guernsey/Jersey), to manage the Group’s expanding operation and client service delivery across Jersey and Guernsey.
Smith (pictured) joins Apex from Maitland Administration (Guernsey) Limited where he has been a Director for the past two years. At Maitland he led the firm’s local growth in Guernsey, was involved with the development in the fiduciary business and established a ManCo service solution. Felton has a wealth of investment experience, most latterly from 13 years as CFO of GCM Grosvenor, one of the world’s largest alternative asset firms. Prior to GCM Grosvenor, Eric was an audit partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen in the financial services sector.

Global funds transaction network Calastone has appointed David Zwirn as Managing Director, Head of UK & Ireland Sales and Relationship Management.
Zwim joins from global fintech business InvestCloud, where he was of Head of Sales. He will be responsible for defining and implementing the UK and Ireland business development strategy, as well as building and managing a growing sales team across the region. Zwim will also manage Calastone’s network of client relationships as the business migrates its infrastructure onto blockchain technology.

Ned Davis Research (NDR) has appointed Josh Monroe as its Global Head of Sales. Monroe will oversee a sales team spanning across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, which serve both the institutional and wealth management markets.
Most recently, Monroe served as Senior Vice President, Head of Sales, Trading and Risk Solutions for North America at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS).
