Cryptocurrency exchange BEQUANT has appointed Daniel Clayden as its new Head of Product Development. With 25 years’ experience in Capital Markets and Financial Services Technology, Clayden’s appointment will strengthen the company’s growing roster of products in the cryptocurrency market.   Clayden has previously held roles at a number of Tier 1 Investment Banks, including JP Morgan and Credit Suisse. Before joining BEQUANT, he was Managing Director at IT Consultancy Levvel.io, and an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. Whilst at Morgan Stanley, Daniel was responsible for Non- Equity Front Office Risk within the Front Office Derivatives Technology Group.   Clayden’s diverse
Confluence, a specialist in investment data management automation for regulatory, financial and investor reporting, has appointed Joe Bree as Senior Global Strategic Account Executive. In this role, Bree is responsible for expanding Confluence’s global relationships with fund and asset management clients, as well as other service providers and intermediaries. In addition, he will work with the broader Confluence sales team to coordinate, streamline and enhance direct sales plans and strategies for the firm’s largest global accounts. Essentia Analytics (Essentia), a provider of behavioural data analytics and consulting for professional investors, has appointed Robin Strong as Global Head of Sales, based in London. Strong comes to Essentia with more than 25 years of experience in the financial technology industry and is responsible for leading Essentia’s sales strategy and execution.   Prior to joining Essentia, Strong served as Managing Director for Westminster RPA, a research commission management business owned by Cowen. In 2015, Strong founded The Investment Data Utility, a service that reduces the cost of data errors for investment managers, banks, hedge funds and insurance companies.  
Trium Capital, a London-based alternative investment specialist with a full-scope UCITS platform, has taken the strategic decision to bolster its operational infrastructure by expanding into Dublin. Subject to regulatory approval, the Irish office, led by Andrew Collins, will enhance Trium’s distribution capabilities, create a platform for growth and safeguard clients, partners and investors against long-term political instability.   Trium will create a ‘Super ManCo’ in Dublin to house all of its UCITS and non-UCITS funds, underscoring its commitment to building its presence in the UCITS jurisdiction.
