Investment management consultancy Constellation Advisers (Constellation) has hired Frank Napolitani as its Global Head of Business Development and Marketing.
Napolitani (pictured) will be based at Constellation’s Headquarters in New York and will focus on expanding Constellation’s presence across the US and internationally.

Highland Capital Management has named Joe Sowin co-chief investment officer (CIO). In the role, Sowin will oversee investment activities for the firm’s multibillion-dollar alternative investment platform with a focus on driving information flow across investment teams and with the firm’s counterparties.
Sowin previously served as head of global equity trading. He will continue to manage the firm’s trading operations as co-CIO.

Tourmaline Partners, an outsourced trading solutions firm, has made two senior hires in Australia, with Matt McShane joining as Director of Operations for Asia, and Simon Twiss as Director of Pan-Asia Trading.
Since opening its Asia-Pacific office in Sydney in January 2018, Tourmaline has seen increasing demand for its services. This growth has been driven in part by the global shift toward unbundling of trading commissions from research, and locally by the Hayne Royal Commission, which has created opportunity for firms that provide un-conflicted, unbiased, highly transparent professional services to the superannuation and investment industries.
McShane and Twiss bring skill
MarketAxess Holdings, the operator of an electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, and the provider of market data and post-trade services for the global fixed-income markets, has appointed Michael Baker as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective immediately.
In his role, Baker will have global responsibility for all software development, which will include strategy, architecture, development and deployment of our trading system, with a particular focus on MarketAxess’ next generation technology solutions. This includes continuing to build innovative trading solutions, as well as supporting the firm’s internal architecture. Baker will report to Nick Themelis, Chief Information Officer.

Estera acquired Heritage Financial Services Group and Morgan Sharpe in 2017 making it one of the island’s largest administrators. The move to the 17,600 sq ft offices at Trafalgar Court in St Peter Port, brings together the 100 members of the Guernsey team under one roof.

O’Mahony joins Fidante from Pacific Asset Management where she developed and launched a bespoke range of funds in partnership with a global IFA. She has a long track record in product strategy and development having spent the prior 15 years at GAM, latterly as the Global Head of Product.
During her tenure at GAM, O’Mahony was responsible for the Product Development, Product Management and Market Research teams, overseeing AUM growth to over USD50 billion in the specialist fund range.

Boudreau joins Morrison & Foerster as co-head of its Global Private Equity Investments + Buyouts Group and as a partner in its Private Funds Group. Boudreau brings a practice centred on private equity-focused international M&A, institutional investments, and fund formation. He has represented clients across numerous industries, including technology and life sciences. Boudreau’s coming to Morrison & Foerster also underscores the firm’s continued expansion of its private equity offerings,
GPP, a prime broking, investor services and wealth solutions firm, has hired Tiffany Roberts as Head of Compliance.
GPP, which launches ten years ago, provides prime brokerage, execution, custody and clearing services to hedge funds, wealth managers and broker-dealers.
Roberts will take on the role after over three years at a hedge fund as senior compliance officer. Her appointment is the latest in GPP’s strategic expansion of its leadership team, following the recent hires of Todd Johnson as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and James Parker as Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Amundi has appointed Ryan Myerberg as Head of Absolute Return – Global Fixed Income, effective 23 April. He will be based in London.
Myerberg joins Amundi from Janus Henderson Investors where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager for Global Macro and Global credit strategies. He was responsible for global economic, policy and political analysis, and was a member of the Investment Strategy Group, responsible for global asset allocation decisions across a number of fixed income strategies. He previously served as an international fixed income trader responsible for trading non-U.S. fixed income securities.
Prior to this, Myerberg was head of European fixed
