Advent Capital Management (Advent), a firm focused on convertible bonds, high yield, and specialist credit investments, is bolstering its team with several new hires and promotions to meet global demand.   Advent recently strengthened its team in London by adding Alastair Smith as Managing Director of business development. BNY Mellon Investment Management’s US Multi-Asset Manager has hired an experienced investment team managing quantitative strategies including Risk Parity, Managed Futures and Alternative Risk Premia. Roberto Croce PhD (pictured), Berto Brauns and Xuan Huan joined the firm’s Boston office. Rob serves as senior portfolio manager and managing director, while Berto and Xuan are senior research analysts. Alternative investment manager Shrewsbury River Capital (SRC) has added Dan Voloshin as a new senior member in its investment team.  Voloshin joins SRC from his previous role as head of the CMBS Secondary Trading Desk at Deutsche Bank (DB), a franchise for CRE financing, CMBS issuance, and secondary CMBS trading. He managed a team of traders and a large portfolio of CMBS securities across the credit spectrum.    Prior to running the trading desk at DB, Voloshin was focused on trading the non-investment grade and distressed CMBS portfolio.  Preceding his time at DB, Dan was the co-head of the Barclay’s CMBS
