Cloud based collateral management technology provider CloudMargin has hired Christiaan van der Wal as Head of Service Delivery, effective immediately.
Van der Wal joins CloudMargin from Dutch investment manager MN Services in The Hague where he ran Collateral Management and Securities lending. Van der Wal will be based in CloudMargin’s London office reporting to co-founder and COO Stuart McHardy.

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s (ISDA) Board of Directors has elected Eric Litvack as its new Chairman. The appointment is effective from 1 January, 2015.
Litvack is a Managing Director and Head of Regulatory Strategy for Société Générale’s Global Banking and Investor Solutions business. He has worked at Société Générale for nearly 29 years in a variety of roles, and has served on the ISDA Board since 2006. Litvack was appointed Vice-Chairman of the ISDA Board in 2012.
Litvack succeeds Stephen O’Connor, who has been Chairman of the Board since April 2011 and a Board member since 2008. O’Connor
MSCI Inc has appointed Laurent Seyer as a Managing Director and Global Head of Client Coverage.
Based in London, Seyer reports to Henry Fernandez, MSCI’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

VAM Group has appointed Stephen Kevan as Group Marketing Director.
The role is a new one that will see Kevan work closely with Andre Le Roux, VAM Group Managing Director, Michael Hunt, Managing Director of VAM Funds, which operates a Luxembourg UCITS IV fund range, and Jeanne Makuch, Managing Director of The Mauritius Administration and Trust Company (MATCO).
Kevan, whose past roles include Marketing Director for Old Mutual International and Head of Marketing for Barclays Wealth, will oversee strategic marketing across VAM Group’s companies.

With his promotion, Marlow, who joined the firm in 2006, will join Neil Worsley, Mike Driver, Chris Froggatt and Nathalie Blake at the head of the Firm.

SCORPEO has recruited Jack McNally as Managing Director of SCORPEO US, based in the firm’s newly opened US office in Boston and Chris Barrow as Head of Business Development, based in London.
Prior to joining SCORPEO, Jack McNally worked for Lehman Brothers and then Credit Suisse for 11 years in New York, Boston and Zurich, where he was a Managing Director and Global Head of the Managed Securities Lending Business and Head of Prime Services, Switzerland.

Intercontinental Exchange has successfully completed the Liffe futures and options transition to ICE Futures Europe.
The final phase of the Liffe transition was completed with the equity derivatives complex transferring to the ICE platform, following the previous migrations of European interest rate derivatives and soft commodity contracts.
The Liffe equity derivative contracts that were migrated to the ICE platform on November 17 include futures and options on the FTSE 100 Index, futures contracts on the MSCI World and MSCI Europe Indices, as well as a comprehensive range of Single Stock Futures, Dividend Adjusted Stock Futures and Individual Equity Options.
