Kolre is a debt capital markets and financial regulatory lawyer, who specialises in debt securities, bank and insurance capital as well as funds (particularly hedge funds) and EU fundamental freedoms. Newedge has appointed Nicole Wesch as Global Head of Media and Public Relations. Wesch is based in the company’s London office and is responsible for leading Newedge’s PR activities internationally. Cara brings considerable institutional hedge fund experience to Agecroft Partners. Fiona Le Poidevin, the current Deputy Chief Executive of Guernsey Finance, will take over as Chief Executive from Peter Niven with effect from 30 June. Niven has been with Guernsey Finance since 2006 and will continue to act in a part time consultancy role with the company until the end of 2012. Harcourt, a subsidiary of Vontobel Asset Management, has appointed Jan Viebig and Georg Wessling to further expand and strengthen its expertise in alternative investments.   Viebig takes up the position of Head of Alternative Investments. Wessling will act as Deputy Head of Alternative Investments.   Viebig replaces the former CEO of Harcourt, Stephan Fritz, who has decided to leave Vontobel Asset Management.
