TradeStation Prime Services, a division of Tradestation Securities, has added John Kenealy to its prime services team.
Kenealy will serve as vice president of TradeStation Prime Services and he will be head of the Chicago office.
He has more than 15 years of sales and brokerage experience. He joined TradeStation Securities in October 2001 as a sales representative and has held several supervisory and management positions. Kenealy most recently served as director of active trader sales for TradeStation.

International Asset Management, a fund of hedge fund investment manager, has appointed Jon Pollowitz as investment analyst and Stephen Bienashski as junior investment analyst, both based in IAM’s New York office.
Pollowitz (pictured) joins from Cadogan Management where he spent three years as a senior research analyst. Prior to this he was an equity research associate at Bear Stearns.
Previously, Bienashski held roles at Regions Financial and Merrill Lynch.
These appointments follow the recent addition of Nan Mead as vice president of client development to the New York team.

Credit Suisse has appointed Andy Stewart to the asset management division as managing director and head of the liquid alternatives business, effective 1 December 2010.
Stewart joins Credit Suisse Asset Management from Man Investments, where he was president and chief operating officer in the US, responsible for business management and overall supervision of the firm’s activities in the US market.
He was also global head of managed accounts, charged with oversight of Man’s managed account initiatives globally.

The role of the international advisory board is to validate the relevance and goals of the research programme proposals presented by the centre’s management and to evaluate research outcomes with respect to their potential impact on industry practices.

Suranya Capital Partners has hired Patrick Littlefield as head trader of its discretionary global macro fund.
Littlefield joins the hedge fund run by Anu Murgai, formerly of Shumway Capital, from Quantitative Financial Strategies, where he was a senior trader.
Littlefield spent ten years at QFS trading on behalf of a variety of quantitative investment strategies.
He has expertise in trading cash, futures, swaps and options across FX, equities, fixed income and commodities.
Prior to QFS, Littlefield worked at Bankers Trust as an FX trader and at Barclays Capital in the fixed income derivatives trading group.

Cowen Group has hired Amrit Agrawal as a managing director in the global capital markets group.
Agrawal will be primarily responsible for advising corporate clients on financing solutions across the capital structure, including on acquisition finance.
Agrawal will also assist clients with private debt placements, exchange offers, consent solicitations and tender offers.
Agrawal will be based in New York and will report to Kevin Reynolds, head of global capital markets.

At the beginning of November 2010, Markus Fuchs will take up his new position as senior counsel with the Swiss Funds Association.
He will support the executive board in the fields of alternative investments and asset management in particular.
Fuchs was formerly a managing director and head of product management at UBS.
His career spans positions with Credit Suisse Group, Swiss Life and latterly UBS.

Laurent Crosnier has been promoted to the position of chief executive of Amundi London branch.
He will retain his current title of chief investment officer and continue to act in this capacity.
The investment business of Amundi London branch covers global fixed income, absolute return, currency, emerging debt, global corporate bonds and global equities.
Crosnier reports to Pascal Blanqué, deputy chief executive of Amundi in charge of the institutional investment division and chief investment officer of the Amundi Group.
