Myles Flint is to join law firm MW Cornish & Co as a partner with effect from 28 January 2013. Flint has vast experience in advising hedge, private equity and other alternative investment managers and funds and EU Ucits and other retail investment managers and funds.  Prior to his appointment at MW Cornish, Flint was acting head of legal at Cardano Risk Management BV (London office), a fund manager managing circa EUR20bn for institutional investors. GAIN Capital, a provider of online trading services, has appointed Joe Wald as executive vice president, head of institutional. Victory Park Capital (VPC), an asset management firm specialising in direct credit and control equity investing in middle market and distressed companies, has named Jordan Allen as principal and chief operating officer. Heritage International Fund Managers (Malta) has appointed Nicholas Warren as head of office. Locally educated at St Edward’s College and the University of Malta, Warren will be responsible for the client service delivery and day to day operations as well as assisting with business development initiatives and growing the business in Malta. Warren has worked in the financial services industry since 2004 initially with Deloitte & Touche in Luxembourg moving on to take a role within the regulatory unit of the Malta Financial Services Authority. KNG Securities has appointed Thomas Saler and Gabriele Balducci to its fixed income team, as part of the firm’s growth strategy.
