Dan Mannix is to assume the role of chief executive officer at RWC from the end of February.
Mannix (pictured) replaces Peter Harrison who will remain as non-executive chairman of RWC and a significant shareholder in the business. Harrison is taking up a senior position at Schroders.
Mannix joined RWC in 2006, as a senior member of the management team and has been a key player in the growth of the number of RWC’s investment teams, as well as leading its highly successful business development team.

Mark DeNatale and Scott Bynum have joined CVC Credit Partners as partner, senior portfolio manager and global head of trading, and managing director and portfolio manager, respectively.
DeNatale spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a managing director and head of loan trading, managing risk across distressed, stressed and performing credit. He actively invested and traded across the capital structure including loans, bonds, equities and derivatives. He was also instrumental in developing a European loan trading platformme.
Bynum spent seven years at Goldman Sachs where he was a vice president in the bank loan distressed investing business. In
Rachael Reynolds has assumed the role of partner in Ogier Cayman’s litigation practice, following the announcement of her promotion by the Ogier Group effective 1 February 2013.

Jon Hanifan has joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld to lead its European hedge fund tax advisory team.
He joins from Ernst & Young, where he was a director in the hedge fund tax practice.
Hanifan will work closely with the investment management practice, which was recently joined by partners Tim Pearce and Ian Meade in London, and with Jonathan Ivinson, tax partner in Akin Gump’s London and Geneva offices.

Bandon Capital Management has appointed Whitney Dow to its management team.
As managing director, he will be responsible for spearheading the firm’s marketing and relationship management efforts.
Dow brings to Bandon over 15 years of extensive investment management experience in marketing, business development, and relationship management. Most significantly, he spent nearly six years as a director with Russell Investments, responsible for the expansion of its distribution footprint in the US by building strategic relationships with national, regional, and independent broker-dealers and other intermediaries. Insparo Asset Management has appointed commodity specialist Lucas Wurfbain to oversee a new global food fund, expected to be launched later this year.
Wurfbain brings with him a wealth of experience in the commodity space, having worked at Fortress Investment Group, Rubicon Fund Management and Global Asset Management (GAM). Wurfbain has worked both in London and in Asia and has travelled extensively throughout his career.
Wurfbain joins Insparo’s six-strong investment team, led by CIO Mohammed Hanif, which manages the firm’s frontier market products.

Eurex Group has made management changes at both Eurex Repo and Eurex Bonds. Peter Reitz, who has served as managing director at both since 2006, has left both firms. However, he will continue to bear overall responsibility for the two subsidiaries on the Eurex executive board.
Frank Gast (43) and Rene Winkler (38) are the new appointees to the Eurex Repo management team. Marcel Naas remains responsible managing director at Eurex Repo.

David A Sussman has joined Duane Morris’s corporate practice group as a partner in its Newark office.
Sussman (pictured) further strengthens Duane Morris’ corporate practice, particularly in the area of private equity transactions.
